Irene was born and raised in Manchester. Her work with National Connections and the Royal Exchange’s Young People’s Theatre group inspired her to go onto study at RWCMD. She first worked with Aqueous Humour in a show commissioned by the LGF and subsequently with Charred Grizzle, The Sky Muffins and Quantified; other credits include ‘Elizabeth Gaskell’ for BBC Aspirations (Voice Over), “Adoption Co-ordinator” for Coronation Street and Unreasonable Behaviour for RWCMD ( Puppetry).
